The 14th Annual RPUG Meeting was held October 21-25, 2002 in Roanoke, Virginia.
The purpose of this conference was to serve as a forum for the exchange of information between end users, data collectors, vendors, construction and design engineers, consultants and researchers who have an interest in road profiles and pavement smoothness.
The conference was intended for engineers and researchers in pavement and its related fields at all levels of government, contractors, consultants, universities, equipment manufactures, and vendors.
Samsung SDS America introduced the unified asset management system, uniAMS, at RPUG meeting. The uniAMS family includes:
uniSURVEY which is used to survey the inventory and condition of infrastructure such as pavement, sidewalk, bridge;
uniANALYZE which produces the objective and accurate condition of pavement using state-of-the art digital image alysis
uniPAVEMENT which manages pavement data and generates maintenance plans.
uniAMS provides streamlined infrastructure asset management solutions to help civil engineers develop the most cost-effective maintenance strategies.
