Samsung SDS America has developed a PDA data collection device with the latest handheld computer and GPS technology. Using this new PDA device, a user can collect location and condition of street signs, sidewalks, and bridges. The user can also take digital imagery of bridges, sidewalks, and signs using integrated digital camera function.
The PDA device can easily download the survey template in html format from the server computer and then upload the surveyed data.
Samsung SDS America's new PDA Data collection device is a good solution for cities and counties who are seeking a replacement for paper-based data collection.
